FAAKER SEE

Welcome to the southernmost bathing lake in Austria.

The Faaker See, whose turquoise blue color fits on every imaginable postcard motif completely unretouched. At its center is a delightful island with a romantic island hotel. The lake is particularly easy to explore by canoe.

The 2.2 square kilometer, up to 30 meters deep and up to 27 degrees warm Faaker See is one of the most popular bathing lakes in Austria. In addition to leisure activities of all kinds, there are a number of attractive events every year, the most well-known being the European Bike Week, the largest Harley meeting in Europe the first week of September.
